The waste conference is an essential professional development tool and networking opportunity for individuals and organisations that I would highly recommend to anyone considering whether there is value in attending.

This is a very well organised event and a great opportunity to meet the councils from further afield and more remote areas.
Also the intimate location helps keep everyone together and make the most of your time at the event.

The conference was brilliant! To have so many passionate people in the one space at the one time is truly fantastic! I’ve been recommending it to anyone I know who didn’t attend.

Even as a seasoned conference-goer, there’s always more to learn in working through the waste challenge and it’s especially refreshing to be re-inspired by the passionate, like-minded presenters and professionals who attend.

I attended and presented at the the 2019 Waste Conference in Coffs and left with not only having a great time and meeting wonderful people, but also a clear direction in which to move waste management practices for the coming years for my member councils.
