Since it’s inception in 1996, the Coffs Harbour Waste Conference has become known as the leading conference for the waste management industry in Australia.
Held at Opal Cove Resort in Coffs Harbour, it is organised by Impact Environmental, supported by the Waste Management Resource and Recovery Association of Australia (WMRR), Local Government NSW (LGNSW), and the Australian Association for Environmental Education (AAEE), and is hosted every year by the Coffs Harbour City Council.
Ordinarily attracting more than 650 national and international delegates, due to COVID-19 restrictions, numbers were limited to 340 onsite in 2021. For those who were unable to physically attend, the conference was live broadcast also, with a further 140 delegates participating virtually.
The conference is targeted at anyone who works in, or has an interest in waste management issues, and is particularly relevant to local government.
Attendees hear from leading waste management professionals on the latest developments in the industry, visited a vast array of exhibitions by national and international companies, and networked with other ‘waste experts’ during the three social evenings.
The Waste 2022 Conference will be held on 3-6 May 2022.
