Australia's premier waste event 1-3 May 2012
Waste 2012 Conference
Join us at Australia's premier waste management conference from 1-3 May 2012. Running since 1996, this event attracts leading companies and individuals from Australia and overseas, and offers a comprehensive program, trade expo and networking opportunities.
The Waste 2012 Conference will begin with a Welcome Reception in the exhibition area on the evening on Tuesday 1 May 2012. This is a great opportunity to meet up with old acquaintances, preview the exhibits and register early to avoid the morning rush. This is a casual networking event with drinks and fingerfood, and delegates will make their own arrangements for dinner.
The conference will kick off around 9am on Wednesday 2 May, with a solid program including plenary and concurrent sessions through to about 4pm, when after a big day, delegates will have a chance to enjoy networking activities before the Conference Dinner which will be held onsite.
Day two of the conference will be another big day covering a range of key issues. The Conference BBQ that night offers delegates a chance to unwind and discuss the outcomes of the conference in a casual setting before making their journey home on Friday 4 May.
The conference will include several streamed sessions focusing on topic areas so a broad range of issues can be addressed. Most of the presentations at this conference are limited to twenty minutes, which provides for more dynamic information exchange and allows more question time in the sessions.
About the program
The program will focus on practical outcomes and will include keynote addresses from both international and national leaders, case studies, workshops and panel discussions. The confernece will again feature the trade expo and offer social networking events over three evenings.
