Coffs Harbour, NSW        17-18 October 2007         Australia's premier waste management conference

About the Waste 2007 Conference

Coffs Harbour’s 8th Waste Management Conference & Expo will commence with a Welcome Reception on Tuesday night, 16 October. Join us for a complimentary beer, wine or soft drink and light finger food at the Conference Welcome Reception in the exhibition area at Opal Cove Resort. Catch up with old acquaintances and make new ones whilst browsing the exhibitions. This is an ideal opportunity to register early to avoid the morning rush also. Afterwards, enjoy dinner at Horizons Restaurant or one of the other great restaurants at your resort or in town.

Two full conference days will then be held on Wednesday 17 and Thursday 18 October, featuring issues such as Waste and Climate Change, AWT, Regional Cooperation and Contracts, and Organics. There is also a tour of the Coffs Coast Resource Recovery Centre on the afternoon of Thursday 18th, with its state-of-the-art MRF and recently commissioned Biomass facility!

On the night of Wednesday 17th, the Conference Dinner will be held at the Coffs Ex Services Club and promises to be the most enjoyable yet. As always, a great three course meal will be served, and a 70’s theme will be the highlight of the night taking us back to that great decade with the disco balls, flared pants and funky music! On the evening of the 18th we'll enjoy a BBQ on the Opal Cove outdoor terrace, followed by entertainment from the "Get Wasted Band" who will have just returned from playing at Landfill Symposium in Sardinia, Italy!
