The Facilitating Change in Councils about ESD workshop will be highly interactive with information sharing, successful case studies and innovative practices being just some of the key deliverables. It will focus on what works and how to make it work better. So come and help us, your peers, your Council and of course help yourself in the process!!

Facilitating Change in Councils about ESD is a special 2 day workshop designed for those Council staff who are charged with the specific responsibility of implementing ESD principles and programs across their Council.

DAY 1 – 29 September
8.00 – 9.00 am	Arrival
9.00 – 10.00 am	Introductions
10.00 – 10.30 am	Update from around NSW on Councils and ESD
10.30 – 10.45 am	Morning Tea
10.45 – 1.00 pm	What Works & What Doesn’t? (sharing experiences about ESD in Councils)
1.00 – 2.00 pm	Lunch
2.00 – 4.00 pm	Group activities on meeting ESD challenges
4.00 – 5.00 pm	Whole of Group Debrief
7.00 pm	Dinner at Quarantine Station followed by a game of “Substitute”!

DAY 2 - 30 September
7.30 - 9.00 am	Buffet Breakfast
9.00 - 10.30 am	Case Studies of ESD in Practice
10.30 - 10.45am	Morning Tea
10.45 - 1.00pm	What Do We Need? (steps and tools required to have ESD placed on your Council's agenda)
1.00 - 2.00 pm	Lunch
2.00 - 3.30pm	Sustainability Tour of Quarantine Station
3.30 - 4.00 pm	Whole of Group Debrief
4.00 pm	Close

TRANSPORT - Use of public transport is encouraged where possible. Train to Circular Quay, then ferry to Manly. Call facilitators (phone numbers above) for shuttle service from ferry to Quarantine Station.
