Our Approach
The use of professional facilitators and well instructed speakers is a key component of our events, ensuring that the message is not lost in the process - one of the worst downfalls of many events. Another major part of any event is the networking opportunities. These are a feature of our events - just ask any of our past delegates!
Green Initiatives for our Events
We have been working with conference venues since 2003 to ensure our events are run in as sustainable a manner as possible. We have succeeded in convincing venues to undertake a number of initiatives including:
- Serving no single serve tea bags, sugar coffee or mints
- Supplying organic morning and afternoon teas
- Using organic milk for the duration of the conference
- Providing paper recycling receptacles in all functions rooms
- Providing paper recycling receptacles in all delegate accommodation rooms
- Ensuring all paper used during the conference has a recycled content
- Ensuring all supplied napkins, toilet paper, facial tissues have a recycled content
- Installing centralised bottle & glass recycling outlets for the hotel
- Installing centralised cardboard recycling station for the hotel
- Supplying power for the duration of the event that is obtained solely from renewable energy sources
- Installing paper recycling receptacles in administration offices
- Encouraging the venue to set up a Green Committee to educate staff and monitor the venues green Initiatives
