2008 Australian Geothermal Energy Conference

The inaugural Australian Geothermal Energy Conference was held in Melbourne at Rydges Hotel on 19-22 August 2008. It was a huge success, attracting over 300 delegates and filling the exhibition area to capacity. The event was hosted by the Australian Geothermal Energy Association and the Australian Geothermal Energy Group.

The program structure was well received and the 2009 conference will therefore include similar elements, including a Pre-conference Seminar, industry presentations, international keynotes, and streamed sessions focussing on priority topics.
